• Purpose Statement

1. Modify plasma power supplies to operate with ESAB Cutting Machines.

1. ESAB PCM 500i and 100i power supplies

• Procedure

1. Modifications for a plasma marker with a PCM 500i POWER SUPPLY
   1. Install pilot arc relay installation kit. (Refer to print D-57000743).
   2. Modify voltage divider board. (Place jumper across P1-2 to one side of C5. Break connection between R1 and R2 by scrubbing off the laminated foil).
   3. Add snubber/torrid across P6-14 and P6-12 inside power supply.
2. Modifications for a 100i power supply
   1. Modify voltage divider board. (Place jumper across P1-2 to one side of C5. Break connection between R1 and R2 by scrubbing off the laminated foil).
   2. Place jumper across TB1-18 and TB1-19 inside power supply. (Refer to PCM 100I manual for internal E-Stops).

NOTE: Modifications to the voltage divider board should be done on all power supplies from the 500I on up
