Software Installation for Vision 500, 1000 and 2000 Controls

  1. Purpose Statement

    1. To define a written procedure for installing software in ATAS Vision Controls Models 2000c and 3000

  2. Scope

    1. All Vision 2000c and Vision 3000 Controls used on ESAB gantry type cutting machines.
  3. References N/A
  4. Procedure
  5. Get the software disk from software engineering.
  6. Install the disk in the user floppy.
  7. Plug a keyboard into the vision 2000c. The vision 3000 already has a keyboard installed.
  8. Turn the control on.
  9. Hold the shift key down on the keyboard. This should cause the control to boot up to the dos prompt (c:).
  10. Type A:
  11. Type copy *.* c:\anc this should copy all the files on the disk into the anc directory on the hard drive.
  12. Type reboot.
  13. The control should now boot up with the correct software.

    1. Version Number must be documented on the project serial Sheet in the project notebook.
