Battery RAM checksum error <n>

If this message is displayed once after a change in software, ignore it.

Controller Power Supply
- Locate the power supply inside the control. It is in a silver casing with an X80 and X1 connector mounted on the outside.

- Using a voltmeter set to DC, measure the 5V output of the power supply by placing the black lead on the X1 connector at terminal 2 and the red lead on terminal 3, 5, 7, 8, or 9. 

-The voltage should be a minimum of 5.2 Vdc and maximum of 5.4 Vdc. Adjust the voltage by removing the power supply and adjusting the potentiometer on the bottom side.   if voltage can not be adjusted to 5.2 then adjust to maximum and see if the error clears, if not, replace power supply.  Power Supply part Numbers: Vision 500, 1000, 2000, 2000C, 3000 - #2236895.  Vision NT/PC # _ _ _

Defective DIO Card
- Replace the card.

Defective Mother Board
- Replace the board.

 

 

If this error occurs repeatedly, inform ESAB service.

 

If it occurs during operation, the RAM module on the DIO board may be damaged, or the battery may have run down.
